Diet & Nutrition:

Recommended Remedies – dosage as per labels:

  • Para + Plus – Natural anti-parasitic, antibiotic and anti-fungal; detoxifies parasite toxins; colon, liver and immune support
Can be used as a preventative two – three times per year
  • Vitamin C – Acidifies intestinal tract for parasite resistance, supports liver detoxification, immunity
  • Pro-Colon probiotics – Restores intestinal ecosystem, improves nutrient absorption, heals leaky gut, aids immunity
  • Folic Acid – Resists parasites, improves digestion, promotes production of natural probiotics
  • Iron Up – Anemia – parasites often deplete iron stores which then depress        the overall immune system and the overall resistance to parasites.

Special Notes:

  • a) Generally only one-third of the herd will have the problematic infections. Parasites are attracted to those horses with poor immunity and poor digestive health.
  • b) Make use of regular fecal tests to determine that the program you are using is working
  • c) For optimum prevention ensure a healthy colon/cecum, adequate levels of probiotics (Pro-Colon), good nutrition and immunity, as well as regular exercise
